People need to take care of their health. People do that by eating the best diet they can, getting proper exercise and taking supplements of vitamins and/or minerals where appropriate. Vegan people must do the same. Whether you are omnivore, vegetarian or vegan, taking care of your body is paramount. Vegans should not omit necessities from their healthy lifestyle just because they are vegan.
